Our Returns Policy For Standard Self-Install Lighting Kits

We want you to be happy with your fibre optic lighting and we take great pride in our customer service. If however you ever need to return an item, we’re here to make things as simple as possible.
Standard Warranty
A one year return-to-base warranty is provided on all products.
Thinking Of Returning An Item?
If you wish to return goods for any reason please supply the following information either by email, telephone or post:
  • Your full contact details
  • Details of the product(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for return
  • Date of purchase
  • Our order/invoice number
When you supply these details we will issue you with a returns authorisation number. No returned goods will be accepted unless this number has been given to you and is clearly marked on your returned package.
Returned goods must be sent by recorded delivery or courier, and in the case of products lost in transit, we will require proof of postage.
I Want To Return An Unwanted Item
The Distance Selling Regulations allow you to withdraw from any purchase made from us at any time 7 working days after the date you receive the item*. This covers standard products only as advertised on this site and not bespoke items made to your specifications.
If you want to return an unwanted purchase and it remains unopened and unused, as there is no error on our part we will refund the purchase but we will not refund your delivery costs.
* Only applies to consumers and not business to business transactions
My Item Is Defective Or Isn’t What I Ordered
If incorrect or faulty goods are supplied we will replace or refund these, as appropriate, as quickly as possible. We must receive notification of any problems within 7 working days of delivery of your order.
My Item Was Damaged In Transit
If goods are damaged in transit, you MUST sign as such with the courier. Please keep all documentation and packaging and contact us within 7 days of receipt for returns instructions.
General Information
UR-Space cannot be held responsible for any related expenses such as loss of earnings, electrician’s fees etc. incurred in the event of faulty or missing items being supplied.
